My friend was giving me a hard time, "why don't you wear make-up, if you just used a little of this it'd really bring out your eyes," blahblahblah. I don't like make-up, it's icky.

But I'm not a tomboy either. I like to wear dresses and skirts as much as I like to wear pants under them, and I like colors like pink and violet and well as blue and red and green. I think we need to acknowledge that some kids are both girly and boyish; we're "purple kids" (purple being a mix of blue and pink). So, I wrote a poem about it. It says, basically, even if the boys say you have cooties and the girls say you aren't dressed right, you aren't defective. You're purple And boys can be purple too! I feel sorry for them, cause they get teased for it even worse then us girls.
